Yes, The World Cup

The World Cup is closer than ever. I have been waiting for this moment 4 long years, and finally the moment has come. I have the hope that this World Cup is going to be the best of all times doe to the great level that all teams offer. I think that the two more complete teams are Spain and England.

Spain has many of the best players of the world and in 2008 they won the Euro which is supposed to be a World Cup without Brazil and Argentina. They posses the best midfielders of the world such as Iniesta, Xabi, Cesc Fabregas and Xabi Alonso ho are without a doubt some of the best players in the world. Iker Casillas is the best goalkeeper of the world so the defense will be secure during all the World Cup. They are the favorite team to win the cup but, this favoritism can become in a great weight for the players because they are getting to South Africa knowing they have to accomplish all the expectations.

At the same time Brazil has excellent players like Kaka, Robinho and Maicon. Each player of the national team is the star in its team so it makes almost impossible to defeat a team that is so solid. Last World Cup Brazil was eliminated in a very strange match by France with a goal of Terry Henry. This is why Brazil is reaching this World Cup with hunger of victory.

We are less than one month away from South Africa and I am sure that it is going to be a great demonstration of good soccer. I could assure that at least on of those two teams is going to reach the final because they are the to best teams of the world today.

The Uefa Champions League

Last Saturday it was played the final of The Champions LEague at el Santiago Bernabeu. Internazionale de MIlan had to play against Bayer MUnich. It seemed a promising game because both teams had won everything they had won in the year.

Bayer MUnich had to play the game without Rivery, one of its best players, but still it had great players as Robben DEmichelis and Klose. They had difeated Lyon in the semifinals in a very tight game. At the same time Internazionale had great players like Etto, MIlito and Sniejder that are some of the best players in the world.

Inter was the clear favorite to win the cup because in Semifinals they had defeated the best team of the world, Barcelona. THe game stared and as it was supposed Inter had control of the game.

At the end of the first halve Sneijder made an incredible passs to Milito ho increidbly scored a great goal. The game was a tigh game but Inter was superior. BAyer had some other clear opportunities but werent able to concrete. So the Inter took advantage of this and with a great play of Milito they were able to score the second goal giving a end to the game.

THe player of the game was Diego Milito ho scored the two goals of the night.

Bad decisitions= Bad Results

Yesterday was one of the saddest and more depressing days in my life. I really have a big passion for Real Madird and get really emotional in their victories and in their looses, but yesterday everything changed. Los Merengues lost their match against Barcelona at El Santiago Bernabeu. I had been waiting for that match since 6 months ago with the hope that we could win the match and win the League, but this didn't happen.

I don't want to remember the match so I am not going to put all the highlights but Ill just say that Barcelona won 2-0 with one goal of Messi in the first half and one of Pedro in the second half. At the same time Madrid also had many clear opportunities like Van der Varts and Cristianos in the second half.

I'm not being selfish but i think that the fault should go the coach Manuel Peligrini ho took the wrong decision from the beginning of the game. At first he gave the opportunity to Gago and Benzema of playng and we all now that this 2 players are not on their best moment while Lassan Diarra and Granero are passing threw their best moments and they didn't give them the opportunity of playng.

I'm not in the mood for talking more about the match so I just want to give my conclusion... The game was a game to forget and I am sure that all the Madrids fans are passing threw a hard moment but I am sure we while be able to overpass this bad moment.

61 Days Away from The World Cup

Its hard to believe, but we are closser than ever to South African World Cup. All the players are giving their best at all matches to be choosen by their coaches to represetn their countries. Many others have the bad luck of injuring for The world Cup, like David Beckam that last month injured his toe and isnt going to be able to play the Wolrd Cup.
They are many good teas but without a dout the oes that have the more opportunities are Spain, Brasil, England and finally Netherland that have some the best players of the world. At the same time other teams like Portugal, Argentina, Germany and many others have clear chances to make a good appereance.
My personal opionion is that Spain and Brasil are goint to play in the final and Spain is going to win his first World Cup agaisnt Brasil eith a score of 3-1.

Finally the Great Game

This Saturday morning is going to be the morning that all the soccer world fans around the world are waiting for. The most waited game of all the season is going to take place at El Santiago Bernabeu. The team ho wins this match will win the League, ho will it be?... Real Madrid or Barcelona? Real Madrid hasn't loose a match this season in Madrid but still Barcelona has great players like Zlatan, Xabi, Iniesta and finally Messi ho is in the moment the best player of the world without a doubt.

The first duel of this two teams was played in Camp New and Barcelona won in a very close game 1-0 with a great goal of Zlatan, but now everything changes, its a different arena and all the worlds eyes are going to be put on this wonderful game. If Madrid looses I am sure I will enter a serious depression because we already got eliminated from The Champions and La Copa del Rey so its our last Trophy possible to win this year.

I just hope that Higuian scores at least 2 goals in the first half so that I can have a nice time the rest of the weekend because if we loose I am not sure what kind of reaction I can take.

Yes, it is Possible

As I said before Real Madrid was eliminated from THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE two weeks ago. The only cup they can still win this year is the LIGA so the team has to put all of its effort to make this possible. In the twenty-seventh match of the LIGA they had to play against Sporting which was clearly not the hardest game of the season. The game was played in El Santiago Bernabeu and Real Madrid had to win due to Barcelona's victory early in the morning.

The game stared and as it was expected Sporting played with half of its team defending making it almost impossible for Real Madrid to score. It was slow game but in the fifty-two minute something unbelievable happened Barral scored a goal for Sporting making the score 1-0. IT seemed that the game was going to end with that result the Merengues needed to improve their way of playng to be able to give another victory to the team.

The team was able to reorganize very fast and two minutes after Rafa Van Der Vart scored a goal that for many wasn't the best but still made the difference in the game. Their was still time to play and the players knew that the victory was possible so they tried their best to accomplish their goal. They began to play an awesome game and one minute after the last goal Xabi Alonso scored the second goal of the team making the score 2-1. The players and the fans were much calmed and knew that the victory was almost secure.

Real Madrid controlled the game and they did what they wanted. In the sixty-seventh minute Higuian received the ball about 40 meters away from the court and was able to elude opponents until he faced the golly scoring the fourth and last goal of the night.

Real Madrid was able to win and was calmed once again They are still tied with Barcelona at the top of the League and are playng very well.

Once Again Defeated

Its hard to say but, Real Madrid hasn't been able to pass the round of best sixteen in The Uefa Champions League.

You may be asking yourself why hadn't I post in so many time... the thing is that last Wednesday it was one of the saddest afternoons for me and for all the Real Madrids fans. I just wasn't in the mood to write of what had happened. This year final is going to be played in El Santiago Bernabeu so it was all the fans hope that the team could reach the final to see this historical match.

Los Merengues had to play the second match against Lyon in EL Santiago Bernabeu. I was totally sure that the team was going to play a great match and that we were going to advance to the best eighth teams of Europe. The day stared and at school I couldn't stop talking about the game, I got in discussions with other friends and even bet money in favor of Los Merengues.

As I said before Lyon had win the first game 1-0 in French territory so La Casa Blanca had to attack Lyon from the first minute of the game.

The game stared how I supposed and how I wanted to be, Real Madrid created many clear opportunities in the first fifteen minutes but weren't able to concrete. In the nineteenth minute Guti made a beautiful pass to Cristiano Ronaldo that with his left leg open the score of the match. I was happier than ever but very deep I felt nervous because I knew that if Lyon made on goal everything would be over.

The minutes passed and the team missed more and more opportunities. Gonzalo Higuain had the clearest opportunity, he was able to elude the goaly but when he face the court he failed, the ball hitted the post. I got really mad and really nervous because in soccer their is a famous quote that says " El que no hace los goles los ve hacer". I knew that in any moment Lyon could surprise Iker Casillas and win the match.

The game passed and each moment I was getting more nervous. In the seventy fife minute the worst thing possible happened Lyon scored a goal and all the world was in silence. "Real Madrid was being eliminated from the Champions" the newspapers around the world said Thursday morning.

At that moment Pelligrini took the decisition of letting play Raul, sadly it was to late he should of taken this decition from the begging of the second half. The game ended and once again Real Madrid was eliminated in the round of sixteen.

Now that the team has been eliminated from The Champions they have to focus in La Liga. This weekend they won their match 4-1 with 3 great goals of Gonzalo Higuain. I wont talk of this match because I'm just not in the mood to keep talking of the team that sadly was defeated last weak in the most important club tournament around the world
